Aquaponics workshop success

Thanks to everyone who came to my workshop yesterday. The weather was perfect for a few short hours. Half an hour after people left, it poured once again. Clearly the fish gods wanted this event to take place!

I have uploaded a picture of a receipt that shows all the necessary parts for making a bell syphon for your aquaponics kit. Here is a link to the site where I got my pump. The company is called Age of Aquariums. This shop also sells the battery back up air pump I talked about. They also sell a host of items suitable for making compost tea brewers. Paul Taylor from Trust Nature put me on to them.

If you are interested in hosting a workshop on aquaponics (or something else) at your place/community garden etc.please see the link here for more information. You can also now order your own aquaponics set-up for $600 delivered (Blue Mountains and Sydney) or buy a kit to do it yourself via our secure online store.

  1. Hey Daniel
So glad your Workshop was a success – just wish I had been able to come. As it was we did not get that flood in the end – but the creek ran high and the rain came down again in the arvo – but only 20mm not the 42 we had overnight on Friday.
I really want to come to your next workshop so please let me know when it is.
    Best wishes
    Stephen
