Seeds of Success Workshop on Sunday 1st May

Come celebrate National Permaculture Day with a workshop to teach you the tricks to getting the most out of your seeds and seedlings!

The workshops are designed for everyone, from first time gardeners to more experienced green-thumbs.

We’ll be working under cover so don’t let the clouds put you off!

When: 1st May 2011. 11 am and 2pm (workshops will run for approximately 1 hour)

Where: 10 Parkes Crescent Faulconbridge (some street parking, and an easy 5 min walk from Faulconbridge train station)

Cost: A gold coin donation please.

Light refreshments available for participants.

You can stock up on seasonal seeds and seedlings and get your seed-raising equipment at the workshops.

Topics include:

  • How to make great home-made potting mix
  • Choosing the right seed-raising equipment – we’ll discuss your level of gardening experience, space, and plant choices
  • Seed choices and appropriate sowing techniques
  • When to plant your seeds
  • Safe and environmentally responsible methods of protection from bugs and mammals
